- I am a 27 year old sports junkie who will show you that baseball betting can be an investment. Back on 6/21/09 I started my portfolio at $921, which was the value of the S&P 500 at the time. I do not guarantee anything or say I can hit 70%, but I do believe I will have decent returns. I only have 1 rule, and that is I will not bet more than 5% of my portfolio on a single game.
